    Did everyone die?

Is the fact that nothing happens here possibly due to the degree of apathy that seems to be a standard?

Is 15 bucks, give or take a couple of dollars to pricey for anyone to manage for an evening?

Am I just the wrong person to try to organize anything (maybe if I had a different anatomy for example)?

Hopefully someone in this wretched place will find their pulse and we can hang out.

      Awe!

I'm new, and yes 15 bucks is to much :) Well at the moment, maybe in a couple more weeks, because I have a fiancee and a baby to bring along to.

I won't comment on the anatomy.

I lost my pulse a long time ago. I think I left it in Santa Barbara where it isn't to hot to breathe. If you find it, I'll give you a dime.

I don't think it's the degree of apathy, I think it's the degree farenheight. That's my excuse any rate.

Woot! What a rockin' response! Thank you!

Your kid gets in free. Only the adults they see pay (and they don't really seem to care much about checking). So all told it'd be about 30 bucks for the entire night and two movies. Not as horrible as a regular movie but you don't also have to pay a babysitter.

Heat is certainly a factor. I know I hate moving when it's too flippin' hot. The up side is that it seems to cool down VERY nicely at night and even in the middle of June it was cool enough to need a blanket or a jacket to be comfortable.

I'd love to see you and yours there. Yank some friends along too. Just let me know how many people you're bringing so I can get enough food.

On the 2nd we are going to Knotts Scary Farm.

          Get it?

          Not Scary?

I wonder if they ever thought about that when they were trying to come up with a clever name for it?

Makes me want to set up my own Scary thing and use that as part of my smear campaign. Aren't I a clever ghoul. Yeah okay. So I'm not funny. What are you gonna do about it? ;)

Okay, so now we're NOT going to Knotts.

Now knowing my fiancee, this will probably change 3 or 4 times, then he will suddenly decide we're going at the very last minute.

So if we don't go, he agreed to go to the drive in. But we're going to have to opt out on the food part. We'll bring our own or eat beforehand if we go.

They probably don't allow bbq's huh?

Maybe we should try something like that on the beach?

Oops, there is no beach here. I hate Highland. I mean that. I hate it, and every little speck of dust that doesn't come from the beach.

On the other hand. I love the Undertaker. He is such a stud without all that make-up.

I can't say I'm fond of the dust where I'm at either. I was kind of concluding that with the lukewarm response I'd be going alone. Let me know as soon as you're as sure as you can be either way so we can rendezvous.

So anyway, we're going to knotts. What did I tell you. But hey, he only changed his mind this once! That's practically a record.

It's all good. I went anyway. The ceviche was awesome though I ate my tacos at the restaurant (also awesome - as usual). I think I'm going to do this every other weekend or something like that. Alone or otherwise, makes no difference to me. Hopefully I'll meet some of you.

The Forgotten was an okay movie. Good but not spectacular. A little more on the emotional side and a lot less on the scary side for me (at least while in the headspace I was in). I think I would have preferred a different "them" than the movie gave me but it was still a pretty good story. I recommend it but not at full price.

The Sky Captain sucked. I fell asleep through it and, though the graphics were superb the story was rather dull (at least the parts of it I caught before passing out). This movie is probably going to doom us all with decade long repeats on whichever media outlet pays the most.

Yeah well, we didn't go to knotts.

Tom (my fiancee) woke up and threw up everything he's eaten in the last year. So instead I spent my day trying to keep my son away from his father (talk about an act of futility *grrrrr*), and trying to keep his father away from ME!

gRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. On the upside, my son went with his grandma for a couple hours for lunch, and I got to sleep, real hard core sleep. I bet I even slobbered on my pillow.
