I just wanted to say thanks to Talena for thinking of this game. It has been very entertaining, at least for me. I'd love to see how long we can keep this going. Round of applause for Talena! ;)

Re: Don't break the chain!
Mon, October 18, 2004 - 1:08 AMI'm so happy I use a system that checks my spelling system-wide. It's part of Pather (OSX 10.3) for Macintosh. I'd spell just as poorly as everyone else if it weren't for that fact. Of course, it can't help me with content (yet).

I don't need spellcheck buddy! Once in a blue moon when I'm nursing and have one hand. (That's how I ACHIEVED my humiliation).

Re: Don't break the chain!
Mon, October 18, 2004 - 5:34 PMNot everyone is as fundamentally perfect as you Tal.
[wink and grin]
Spelling checkers check for typos as well. That is what it catches, and it would appear to someone that doesn't type that I have trouble spelling. All in all the spelling checker allows me to type train of thought and worry about typo and/or spelling correction later. When I'm uncertain about how to spell a word I consult a dictionary, not my spell checker.
So I achieved my humiliation by not double checking the logic of my statement or how it could be misunderstood or misinterpreted.
I'm going to take a nap now. I think I'm a little cranky.
Ciao:
